The DVD Builder allows users to create DVDs of their home movies and photo slideshows on a DVD+R or DVD+RW disc. With the DVDRW416K, one can safely burn discs thanks to Philips intelligent drive features: Thermo-Balanced Writing for optimal writing on all CD-RW discs and Seamless Link to protect against buffer underrun. Simplified installation helps users to start making DVD and CD recordings as quickly and easily as possible. The drive is supplied with interactive installation software, including video instructions that show how to install the drive in the PC. The installation program automatically checks the PC configuration and if necessary updates it to optimize DVD/CD recording and rewriting performance.
