fi-6010N Network Scanner scanningThe easy to use scanner for sharing documents in today’s multi-location, global environment. The fi-6010N is an evolutionary document capture solution that combines the intuitive, easy installation of a desktop scanner with the productivity of a network scanner.

Network scanning, collaboration, emailing and faxing just got a lot easier.
Simply load your documents, log into the network, select the destination, and press the scan button. The fi-6010N adds the ability to configure Job Menu buttons so that users can perform a pre-defined set of functions from a single button press.

The fi-6010N is suitable for deployment across the corporation, since the supplied Central Admin software allows multiple fi-6010Ns to be managed, monitored and configured by a single administrator. The fi-6010N scans in colour or monochrome at duplex speeds of up to 50 ipm. With up to 600 dpi optical resolution, image quality is among the best in its class. Not only does the fi-6010N offer ultrasonic double feed detection and long document scanning support (up to 863mm), it also features hard card scanning capabilities (ISO7810 standard) and embossed card scanning through the main automatic document feeder (ADF).

With the fi-6010N, server interactions and transmissions are completely encrypted for strengthened security. Transmission of user data like authentication against the LDAP server or transmission of document data is performed within secure socket layer protected protocols. The fi-6010N is an embedded system in the sense that no open interface ports allow for document data theft or infecting the network with malware.

With a compact footprint of only 315mm (W) x 281mm (H) x 415mm (D) , the fi-6010N installs easily into even the most crowded environments, making it ideal for both front and back office locations. Enter or select from address book the email address of the recipient, scan the document and touch the send email icon. The scanned image can be sent as a .JPG,TIFF,MTIFF or PDF attachment. The PDF can be made searchable by the in-built OCR software before transmission, for additional security the PDF can also be password protected. Increase productivity and decrease costs.
