SDLT600 Internal Drive Grey

The next generation of the SDLT drives demonstrates previously unknown capacities and unbeatable performance. The Tandberg SDLT600 is the latest member of the Tandberg SDLT family. It is twice as fast and provides almost twice the capacity of the SDLT320.

Performance and Features
With it´s transfer rate of up to 260* GByte per hour and a capacity of 600* GByte per data cartridge, this drives sets new records for the whole tape drive market. There are upgrade paths to the SDLT600 available from almost all the DLT product ranges. A small backup window and a larger capacity are the arguments in favour of the use. A further recommendable field of application for the drive is its use in automated tape autoloaders and libraries. It is of course able to read the SDLT tape™ I cartridges recorded with a SDLT220 or SDLT320 drive and is moreover the first Superdrive being able to read the DLTtape VS1 written by the DLT VS160 drive. To store the now available huge capacities there is also a new data cartridges
introduced: The Tandberg SDLTtape™ II media. The combination of drive and cartridge out of one hand will provide extra reliability, quality and compatibility.
