The Eminent EM6001 Camera Surveillance Kit offers you a 250GB digital video recorder (DVR) and an infrared camera. The digital video recorder allows you to watch live images and store images on the internal harddisk. Thanks to its built-in MJPEG compressor, the digital video recorder can store high-quality video for extended periods.
With the security camera you can monitor indoor and outdoor areas securely and comfortably. The security camera enables you to watch images in a 70 degrees angle. The camera is fitted with infrared LEDs, so you can still see up to 15 meters in dark areas.
The Eminent Camera Surveillance Kit provides a total solution to set up your own surveillance system. Next to the 250GB digital video recorder and the camera, also a remote control, power supply, mounting materials and a multilingual user manual are included. You can even connect three more cameras (EM6020, EM6025, EM6027 or EM6029), since the digital video recorder supports four cameras in total.
Watch live images on your computer monitor or on a computer with USB port
The digital video recorder shows live images on your VGA monitor. You can even connect the DVR with a computer by using an USB port and easily search for recorded video.
Create video evidence
You can choose to record on specific times or when motion is detected or keep recording always. Should you need to backup a specific recorded event, you can use the built-in USB port to connect to a computer and backup to an external harddisk or flash device. You can export your video as an AVI file and burn it to a CD-rom. In case of a burglary, you will fast and easily have your video evidence available.
Record and playback video at the same time
The digital video recorder has a MJPEG processor that allows you to record and playback video at the same time, with no loss of quality. So if you enter playback mode, the digital video recorder will keep on recording in the background. Try that with a VHS-loop tape!
